Summary

This opportunity provides meaningful financial support—up to $20,000 for degree-seeking women and up to $8,000 for certificate or non-degree tracks—designed to help women in the U.S. complete programs in education, health and medicine, science, technology, engineering, math, or social sciences. Funds may cover tuition, fees, course materials, and even transportation or dependent care tied directly to academic or credential requirements.

To qualify, applicants must identify as women, hold a bachelor’s degree earned several years ago, and be enrolled in or accepted to an accredited U.S. institution offering programs of at least 400 instructional hours. Degree-seekers enroll full or part-time, including second bachelor’s or first master’s, while non-degree enrollees pursue credentials or training. Candidates should demonstrate academic merit, growth potential, and a commitment to advancing women and girls—especially in under-resourced fields or communities.

The funding cycle runs from July 1 to June 30 with the application window typically from mid-September to mid-November and award notifications by mid-April. Grants are disbursed in phases—degree funds in two installments; non-degree funds in one lump sum.

This program is tailored to uplift women who are launching or pivoting careers in high-growth, STEM-related, or public interest fields. Whether you're advancing in your current field, re-entering the workforce, or shifting to a new technical or professional path, it covers essential educational costs tied closely to your development. By focusing on measurable goals and supporting those facing life challenges or pursuing roles in under-resourced areas, the fund enhances equity and career readiness across the U.S.

In essence, these grants empower women to advance through targeted training—backed by structured financial support—for meaningful career transitions and long-term skill building. Eligibility is U.S.-based and aimed at certified programs in STEM, education, health, or social sciences.
